Our hose operation is the oldest part of our business, dating back to 1948, when our founder, N.Q. Cline, Sr., assembled hoses and components in his house. Today, we operate a 90,000 square foot, state-of-the-art plant in Greenville, with a new retail service center in North Charleston.
Both locations have deep inventories of industrial hoses and parts for national distribution and OEM fabrication. The materials and technologies have changed since 1948, but the values we started with remain in place — a deep commitment to customer service and satisfaction, and an emphasis on long-term relationships over individual transactions.
We know hoses. If you need a hose and don’t have the part number, give us the application, tell us what you’re running through it and we’ll find the right replacement. We use STAMPED, the industry standard for ensuring the right hose:
Size — hose ID and length?
Temperature — environment and product temperature?
Application — how are you using the hose?
Material — what are you running through it?
Pressure — PSI or suction?
Ends — What fittings do you need
Delivery — When do you need it?
Cline hose specialists have the industry-specific experience to handle all kinds of problems with hose assemblies:
As a leading industrial hose distributor, we maintain substantial inventory commitments in a wide range of hose types and sizes, as well as adapters and couplings, clamps fittings and quick disconnects. As an OEM fabricator, we can also manufacture to meet your hose requirements, adding value with engineering and component selection, plus competitive pricing and lead times.

We run a dedicated 3,000 sq. ft. stainless steel hose shop, staffed with veteran hose specialists using customized machines and welding. A 15,000 sq. ft. computerized inventory area supports fabrication of braided steel hose, with deep inventories of parts and assemblies. We also have complete machine shop capabilities for reverse engineering and remanufacturing of parts for legacy equipment.
Cline customers know that when they ask us if we can do something, the answer will be "yes." Our veteran hose specialists solve problems with consultative sales, service, engineering and manufacturing. We work on state-of-the-art hoses, but we also repair and remanufacture legacy equipment no longer supported by the OEM (we can reverse engineer, machine and manufacture in-house, depending on your needs).
